Experienced addiction medicine
Addiction medicine is our primary area of focus. The practice was founded in 1997 and was the first in Berlin to cooperate with an addiction support facility under one roof in an outpatient model; the clinic became known as A.I.D. Kreuzberg.
I (Norbert E. Lyonn) joined as a medical partner in 2005, following many years of experience in the field of addiction medicine in both Berlin and the USA. I have been managing the practice myself for several years now, together with two general practitioners and a psychiatrist.
Focus on substitution treatment
The focus of our addiction medicine services is substitution treatment, which involves the administration of legal substitutes (medication) instead of illegal opiates and opioids as part of a therapeutic concept. We have experience with all substitutes available on the German market and use them in a targeted manner. In doing so, we strive to take patient preferences into account when deciding on the respective substitution medication.

Substitution treatment in close cooperation
In close cooperation with Notdienst Berlin e.V. and Caritas Spandau, we currently treat more than 350 people in this outpatient substitution model, providing not only medical and addiction therapy support but also competent and dedicated assistance with your social, psychological, and other needs.
